For Canada’s Circular Economy Month and Waste Reduction Week, SkipTheDishes (AKA GrubHub) partnered with Circular Innovation Council to create Eco-friendly dishes. SkipTheDishes got with Canada’s top 3 chefs, Victor Barry, Jamie Cholack, and Amit Bangar to create dishes that reinvent take out leftovers. They created new ways to make meals from restaurant leftovers. Their goal is to provide education and inspiration on how to reuse any leftover food so it doesn’t go to waste. In the article, Chef Campaign To Eliminate Home Food Waste , they explained how recreating these dishes can help reduce food waste. Reducing food waste can attribute to a reduce food insecurities, help the environment, economy and the social impacts felt from food wastes.
