The New Jersey brand Do Good Chicken is now implementing a new method of upcycling food waste into chicken food. They collect food waste from grocery stores and food from other partners and upcycled it into food for the chickens. Do Good Chicken states that just one of the products saves 4 to 5 pounds of food from going to waste. The chicken is currently being sold to major grocery stores in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. They plan on expanding their current productions close to high-volume cities so that they can gather even more food waste.
