A UK pizza company called Homemade Pizza Club has made a revolutionary feat by creating the country’s first non- HFSS (fat, salt, and sugar) pizza. The pizza is made from a dough that uses barley grains from breweries that are filled with nutrition and fiber. The grains are normally wasted as a by-product of production but now are being upcycled into pizza crusts. These pizzas will be more nutritious and healthier for the consumer and stop some of the 250 million tons of grains leftover from brewery production avoid a landfill.
