New York City has been seeing nutrition labels in a whole new way, literally. New Yorkers can now find “Malnutrition Labels” on various garbage bags, trash cans, and garbage trucks. The labels inform onlookers of various facts about food waste and hunger in their city. The campaign created by Dole Sunshine will no doubt put food waste in the spotlight and promote more New Yorkers to think and act on their own food waste.
