This series features photos of food in the shape of a plastic bottle. Most people don’t understand the effect that food waste has on climate change, and with the release of these images, Rankin is hoping that this will change. He wants to show the true impact of food waste through these pictures and wants people to understand that by alleviating food waste, we are also alleviating climate change. The photographs have been released before the COP26 summit in Glasgow, where world leaders will gather to discuss ways to stop climate change. Maybe these pictures will spark a new conversation.
