On March 30, 2025, the annual Rethink Waste Fair took place in Greenwich, Connecticut. The fair encourages people to reduce, recycle, repair, and reuse different things that are often wasted particularly food items. The event is aimed to encourage people to adopt sustainable such as food scrap recycling and to swap single use to reusables. This all promotes solutions to the waste crisis in Connecticut. Run by Waste Free Greenwich, a nonprofit organization.
