Denali’s ReCirculate compost, packaged in ‘de-packable’ bags, is now available at over 100 Walmart stores across eight southern U.S. states, with plans to expand to 600 locations by April. The compost is made using Denali’s technology, which separates food from packaging, repurposing unsalable food into compost, fertilizer, and renewable energy. This project supports Walmart’s goal of reducing waste by turning it into sellable products. Denali also works with HelloFresh to recover millions of pounds of food scraps for compost and animal feed, further supporting sustainability.
