A partnership was formed between the NSB (Nebraska Soybean Board) and Husker Athletics making their buses fueled only by biodiesel. This reduces our emissions by utilizing more of our energy output rather than letting it go to waste. Biodiesel is a renewable energy source that reduces our dependency on fossil fuels while recouping food waste to turn into energy. The Husker/NSB partnership allow farmers to get additional demand and value from their soybeans in Nebraska, an overall win for everyone involved.
