Partnered with Goterrra, Howard Smith Wharves precinct is creating robotic processing plants that use Black soldier fly Larva to transform food waste into fertilizers. The Story bridge precinct is currently diverting 96% of waste from landfills through 17 different waste streams. By using the Fly larva they are using natural insect power to eat through waste to help create sustanibillity. The Larvae which they call “Maggot Robots” can reduce large amounts of food waste by 95% in just 24 hours.
