I thought this app called “Too Good To Go” was very interesting because it puts consumers in contact with restaurants and bakeries selling their daily leftovers for 60-80% off. This sounds great to college kids like you and me because we can scan the app for deals that we may enjoy and save a few bucks. However, this app does come with pros and cons. The pros are that this can help in the alleviation of food waste while on the other hand, the cons are that this app is now taking food from food pantries that rely on donations.
