WestPak, a manufacturing company has released information of their new packaging that is apparently sustainable and is going to be used as an alternative to plastic containers. These packaging punnets have been verified by the Forest Stewardship Council. These punnets will be distributed to grocery stores and have the potential to have a huge impact on the industry. Plastic reduction has been a huge focus point for most of these companies as they have been known for creating plastic containers that are harmful to the environment. If these sustainable punnets do well WestPak will be considered the forefront company for sustainable packaging.
