In 2020, 38 million people go hungry in the United States alone. Imagine if companies could profit off of preventing food waste. The business case for companies that contribute to preventing food waste could lower the amount of people that do go hungry by at least 10 percent. Unfortunately food waste is causing climate change and it is resulting in the overconsumption of water and filling landfills. As a result of these consequences, this creates global warming. Global warming will negatively affect everyone that depends on food and water. This can all be prevented just stop wasting food and educate others to support a collaboration that will benefit the substantiality of planet Earth.
