Vanguard Renewable is currently the leading operator of organics-to-renewable gas operations in the US, and has recently held a ceremony for their newest project at The Moyer Family’s Oakmulgee Dairy Farm in Virginia. The project aims to operate farm powered renewable energy using food and beverage waste across the nation. The newly developed Farm Powered anaerobic digester at Oakmulgee Dairy Farm will produce more than 259 MMBtu/year of renewable gas and divert more than 105k tons of food waste from landfill or incineration yearly.
